Supported file types and size limits

PDFs, Word documents and images. Everything else should be exported to PDF first.

KatterPrint accepts:

  • PDF — the safest format, because the layout is already fixed.
  • Word documents (DOC, DOCX).
  • Images (PNG, JPG).

Anything else — spreadsheets, archives, slides exported oddly — should be saved as a PDF before uploading. That also guarantees the layout you see in the preview is the layout that prints.

Very large files take longer to upload and render. If a document is mostly high-resolution images, exporting it at print resolution rather than camera resolution makes the whole job faster.
