KatterPrint scans each page and applies the colour rate only to pages that actually contain colour. The catch is that any colour counts: one coloured heading, logo or hyperlink makes the whole page a colour page.
The preview marks which pages were detected as colour before you pay. If the total looks high, check there first — and if you do not need the colour, export the document in greyscale and upload it again.
